Charles
Nottingham Forest defender Gary Charles earned
both of his caps in England’s Summer tour of 1991 with Graham Taylor in charge.
Just weeks before he had been involved in the
collision with Paul Gascoigne during the 1991 FA Cup Final that sidelined
Gascoigne for over a year.
Charles’
first cap was on June 8, 1991 at Wellington (New Zealand 0-England 2).
He
earned his second and final cap days later on June 12th (Malaysia
2-England 4)

Andrea Fortunato
Italian
defender Andrea Fortunato made his name at Genoa during the 1992/93 season. His
displays earned him a move to giants Juventus.
He
earned his solitary cap during that season with Juventus (1993/94), in a World
Cup Qualifier at Tallinn (September 22, 1993, World Cup Qualifier, Estonia
0-Italy 3).
Unfortunataly,
towards the end of the season he was diagnosed with Leukaemia and sadly passed
away the following year (April 25, 1995) at the age of only 23.

Raimond Aumann
Raimond
Aumann took over as Bayern Muncih goalkeeper in 1988 following the departure of
Jean-Marie Pfaff.
He
had to compete with Bodo Illgner and Andreas Kopke for the number one position
for the national Team.
He
was limited to four appearances in friendlies.

Juan Eduardo Esnaider
Argentina
striker Juan Esnaider was acquired by Real Madrid at the age of 18.
He
played for Real Madrid in two separate spells, but also Atletico Madrid and
Real Zaragoza among others.
He
earned three caps under Daniel Passarella spread across three years.
His
first cap was in a friendly vs. Venezuela on December 21, 1995 (6-0 win), where
he scored twice.
The
following year, on December 28, 1996, he played in a friendly vs. Yugoslavia
(2-3 loss) where he scored from the spot.
His final cap was in a World Cup Qualifier on
October 12, 1997 vs. Uruguay (scoreless tie), when he replaced Hernan Crespo in
the 69th miunte.

Fabrice Divert
French
striker Fabrice Divert made his name at Caen. He earned all of his three caps
under Michel Platini.
His
first cap was in a friendly vs. Hungary at Budapest on March 28, 1990 (3-1
France win). He replaced Phillipe Tibeuf in the 63rd minute.
After
Amara Simba was injured just prior to the 1992 Euros, Divert was called up as
his replacement.
He
played two further friendlies.
May
27, 1992-Switzerland 2-France 1 (He scored France’s goal)
June
5, 1992-France 1-Holland 1 (He replaced Jean-Pierre
Papin in the 61st minute).
